Production McLaren P1 Has Ended

The latter has rolled off the production line, drawing to close the most technologically advanced, if not quite the fastest, chapter McLaren career path so far.

All 375 P1S now been produced, with the P1 and P1 375 best version of the MacLaren.

A few years ago their production, with each P1 takes about a few weeks of their production, most of the amount involved in the manufacture of sports cars stretcher.

North and South America received most of the P1 production - about 34 percent - with Europe getting a quarter of the 375-strong term.

You can complete the P1 recap here. But it was an understatement to say create a modern successor to the legendary McLaren F1 is never going to be easy.

So, instead of aiming for the best speed of 241mph top and completely driver-focused ethos, McLaren not seem to make one of the most intelligent supercar of all time.

Many technological highlights. What 903bhp petrol-electric drivetrain? Downforce level similar to ginormously GT3 race car with wings? Braking components influenced by space travel?

Of course there is the performance, too, with a 0-62mph time of 2.8 seconds, a top speed of 217mph and a sub-seven minute lap of the Nürburgring.

Do not shed too many tears, though; end production of P1 means that the manufacture of which is just crazy - and even faster - track brother, GTR P1, can get into full swing. Every cloud, and all that ...
